DISCOVER OUR VISION & PASSION

Wills Creek Performing Arts (WCPA) was born from a deeply personal journey. Founded by Greg Evans, our organization's roots lie in the heartwarming, albeit challenging, experience of caring for his beloved mother, Jean Evans, throughout the final five years of her life as she battled dementia.

Greg's caregiving journey was a profound testament to love, resilience, and the remarkable moments of unexpected joy that can illuminate even the most difficult paths. Through the highs and lows of this journey, Greg discovered the incredible power of music, theater, and dance to bring comfort and connection to those living with dementia.

Driven by a desire to honor his mother's memory and inspired by the transformative moments of beauty and connection he witnessed during their time together, Greg established WCPA. Today, our nonprofit is dedicated to sharing the healing and uplifting power of the performing arts with others, all while raising awareness and support for dementia research and care services.

Join us on our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia, celebrating the enduring legacy of Jean Evans and the countless moments of unexpected joy that art can bring to even the most challenging of circumstances.
